The NGK D8EA is a standard nickel-alloy spark plug designed for compatible motorcycle ignition systems. It features a 12mm thread, 19.1mm thread reach and a 19mm hex size.

The plug uses a threaded stud terminal, a single standard ground electrode and a non-projected centre electrode. Trivalent metal plating, a ceramic insulator, corrugated ribs and triple seals support corrosion resistance, heat transfer and sealing performance.
