Mugen means infinity in Japanese—an idea that defines the spirit of MUGENRACE, founded in 2001 by a stunt rider and racer who knew firsthand what motorcycle gear endures in real crashes.
After years of testing gear from other brands, he set out to create his own: high-quality, race-ready suits built on real-world experience, including crashes at speeds of 200–300 km/h.
Each new leather suit was personally crash-tested by the founder. From stitched reinforcements to ergonomic fit, every detail was refined for safety, comfort, and performance.
Today, MUGENRACE gear is worn by riders in MotoGP, Moto2, and Moto3, now also integrating airbag technology through a partnership with Dainese.
The product line includes cow, buffalo, and kangaroo leather suits, as well as innovative streetwear like Kevlar-lined motorcycle jeans.

The MUGENRACE Sidegun Perforated Leather Suit combines racing performance with everyday practicality, offering exceptional comfort, ventilation, and protection for both track and road riders. Constructed from 1.2–1.3 mm thick premium cowhide leather, it provides outstanding abrasion resistance while remaining flexible and comfortable thanks to strategically placed rubberised and stretch inserts.
Perforated leather panels on the chest, back, and legs ensure optimal airflow, keeping the rider cool even during intense sessions. TPU external protectors and flexible leather stretch zones enhance impact protection and mobility, while 4-way MNR stretch inserts ensure unrestricted movement in all riding positions. The neoprene comfort collar adds to overall wearability, even on longer rides.
An aerodynamic racing hump optimizes airflow and stability at high speeds, and a removable mesh lining makes cleaning easy. Designed with safety and performance in mind, the Sidegun suit meets the needs of ambitious riders looking for a durable, ventilated leather suit with race-level protection.
