Mugen means infinity in Japanese—an idea that defines the spirit of MUGENRACE, founded in 2001 by a stunt rider and racer who knew firsthand what motorcycle gear endures in real crashes.
After years of testing gear from other brands, he set out to create his own: high-quality, race-ready suits built on real-world experience, including crashes at speeds of 200–300 km/h.
Each new leather suit was personally crash-tested by the founder. From stitched reinforcements to ergonomic fit, every detail was refined for safety, comfort, and performance.
Today, MUGENRACE gear is worn by riders in MotoGP, Moto2, and Moto3, now also integrating airbag technology through a partnership with Dainese.

The MUGENRACE Sidegun Perforated 2-Piece Leather Suit combines premium protection, exceptional ventilation, and everyday practicality in one versatile package. Made from 1.2–1.3 mm thick high-quality cowhide leather, it delivers outstanding abrasion resistance while maintaining flexibility and comfort for both street and track riders.
The perforated leather panels on the front and back ensure excellent airflow, keeping you cool even in demanding riding conditions. Rubberised inserts and 4-way MNR stretch panels on the chest, back, sleeves, and legs provide a perfect ergonomic fit and complete freedom of movement. The suit also features TPU external protectors and flexible leather stretch zones for optimal impact protection and mobility.
The neoprene comfort collar and removable mesh lining enhance overall comfort, while an aerodynamic small hump improves airflow at higher speeds. This 2-piece design offers the convenience of separating the jacket and pants, making it ideal for riders who demand versatility without compromising performance or safety.
